Add Color-Coding to Chord Editing
Hi Chordify Team,
First, thank you for creating such a powerful tool for musicians. I use Chordify frequently and find it incredibly helpful for practice and learning new songs.
I have a feature suggestion that I believe would enhance the editing and learning experience:
Feature Request: Color-Coding for Chords
It would be extremely useful to have the ability to assign colors to individual chords or sections within a song. For example:
-
Highlighting chord changes that need extra practice in red
-
Marking verses and choruses with different colors for easy navigation
-
Color-coding chords by function (tonic, dominant, subdominant) for music theory study
This feature would help with visual learning, quicker memorization, and structured practice sessions.
Please let me know if this is something currently under consideration or if there is a workaround in the existing editor.
Thanks for all your great work supporting musicians worldwide.

Hi Matt,
Your idea is great.
If I understood well your chord coloring ability suggestion refers to the feature in EDITING mode. So every body should color his/her song charts individually.
For beginners it would be great if Chordify SW could color the full Chords Chart. It would help substantially the chord changes when the full song is played.
