It would be helpful to have a notes section so as to allow users to add their own notes including their own strumming patterns for a particular song.

Strumming patterns can very much be a rhythmic choice by the user so it does vary from person to person.  Also if a user has a public profile and the notes are also public then the strumming patterns may be of help to other users.

  and me...... it seems that this feature is an omission  to any otherwise very useful site.      I trawl umpteen YT tutorials in order to find a strumming pattern which works for me

  if its of any use the "Island strum"  does fit so many songs, and offers a nice variation to DUDUD  etc
