Not having a WiFi connection renders this program almost useless for gigs!
Using the app for iOS, it doesn’t give you the option of alphabetically sorting the History, AND there is no search function. This creates a big problem if you’re offline!
The ONLY thing that works when you’re offline is the History. So with no Set Lists to help sort many many songs, you only have the History to draw on, and because the iOS app has no History search capability, there is no quick/useable/practical way of searching History for a given song.
This is a real gotcha. Chordify is perfectly useable off-line for showing chords, but it’s useless as it is now.
Feature request for iOS app:
1. History capable of alphabetically sorting. The web version is able to do this, but it does NOT carry over / sync to the app version. Alphabetically it's easy enough to find songs in the History list, otherwise it's not practical, would take too much
2. iOS app: when offline, enable Search in the History. This would make it possible to find songs offline even if not alphabetically sorted. It's not like you need to be online in order to have the program do a search of existing songs in the History list.
3. Enable use of set-lists off line. There's no reason not to, the info is there.
These 3 features would make CHORDIFY for iOS useful offline! And these changes should be a slam dunk.
? What platform are your users on the most? iOS or Android? I have an ipad because it historically did a much better job (lower latency) than android for instrument apps like Korg Module or Neo-Soul Keys.
