I am just learning to play the guitar and am a huge fan of Mary Chapin Carpenter.  My instructor had me pick a song to learn to play, but who knew it would be such a challenge.  From what I read Mary Chapin uses alternate tunings a lot and I can't figure out what tuning she is using for her song "Here I Am" .  You can see her perform it on youtube in her "Song's From Home" series she did during the covid lockdowns.  I appreciate any help.  Thanks, Beth

  Hi Beth, I've had a listen to the song and tried playing with it, the tuning is standard but she is using a capo on 5th fret. So try opening the song: https://chordify.net/chords/mary-chapin-carpenter-songs/here-i-am-chords and make sure you've added the capo information on Chordify (the capo feature is just above the chords next to transpose) and then move your own capo to 5th fret too, and you can jam along.
