Chord Inversions Not Detected

Hi folks, I have been using your app on a daily basis since buying my 1 year subscription last July. My playing has skyrocketed from where I was one year ago.

That being said, I’m a person who used to play by ear. And on certain songs I play using the app, I can hear in the song that the chord being played is actually inverted. In actual fact, this app appears to only detect root chords and no variations are caught whatsoever. I guess I should state that I use this app for playing my piano.

Can you please update your algorithm to catch these chord variations so that we may play more accurately. I mean, the root chords work, but it would be nice if the algorithm properly read the song and caught all chord changes and variations. Maybe have it as an expert option? Because essentially, you’re getting into Intermediate to Expert mode when attempting chord varioations and rhythms. You guys are brilliant! You came up with this app, and now I’m playing the music I love to hear and play. Let’s see if we can expand on that algorithm to be a little more accurate. Then perhaps, create a Beginner, Intermediate, and then Expert profiles in the app. The better you get. The more challenged you are, which enables chord inversions and variations.

For example, I have learned most of Toto’s songs from you YouTube from people who play in bands and use the actual sheet music. And none of the songs for Toto in this app properly represent the correct chords/variations in their songs. Africa is a perfect example. Hope this can be done. My renewal is coming up in July. I’m hoping this app can grow by that time, as I’d love to play the exact replica of songs from Toto, etc when using this amazing app! I love it!
