Add a metronome option

It would be nice to have a metronome sound (on/off + volume up/down) - I like to see the tempo but it could be a helpful option to hear it too.

  Yes please add a metronome option!
  Without it is very difficult to play in time while having backing track volume silent.

  This is the most ridiculously frustrating software ever. Did they interview users? I mean, they did the hard part. Why not have the simple features? Yes, it seems obvious that as I am learning a song. It would be great to go between hearing the song while the chord changes animate, and also switch to muting the song and only hearing a click.

  I agree, a metronome is a basic necessity for learning a song.  It is necessary to be able to play along with a song without the help of the backing track, otherwise you become too dependent on it.  Please add a metronome tool.
