Chord extensions?
Why isn't there symbols for half-diminished 7ths, fully-diminished 7ths, augmented or altered chords?

IF YOU KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT MUSIC, WITCH IT SEEMS YOU DO, JUST BY THE LANGUAGE, YOU USE. LEARN ALL YOU CAN GET OUT OF CHORDIFY FIRST, THEN START EXPERIMENTING TO FIND THOSE OBSCURE CHORDS. THING IS IF YOUR PLAYING IN A BAND OR OUT AS A ONE MAN ACOUSTIC BAND, NO ONE WILL HEAR THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE MAJOR OR MINOR, HALF OR FULL, AUGMENTED OR ALTERED CHORDS EXCEPT YOU AND SOMETIMES THAT LITTLE NOTE MATTERS TO PEOPLE LIKE US. I ADD AND SUBTRACT NOTES OF THE CHORD JUST TO "JAZZ IT UP" A LITTLE.
I HOPE THIS HELPS. IF YOU HAVE ANY HELPFUL HINTS PLEASE LET US KNOW
SINCERELY,
MICHAEL

Yeah not all of us have that good enough ear to be able to identify a chord, that's why we come on here. An example is "A taste of Honey". There's a Db+ chord in there that doesn't show, but although many of us can hear the difference, we don't know what the chord should be. If you are one of the lucky ones that can identify it, good for you, I'm extremely jealous, I'm one of the many with cloth ears, who have to work hard at it,but still love playing,so I need all the help I can get. I have tried to correct the said chord but there is no facility to enter an augmented chord

Half diminished chords are essential in many songs. Chordify doesn't recognise them and doesn't offer the opportunity to fill them in. There is a way around, because you can write any half diminished chord as a minor chord on the third step, with the original bass-note. So em7b5 can be written as Gm/E, Dm7b5 as Fm/D etc.

AND ...... Good people at Chordify .....
Please don't forget about what I have been raving on about for the past two years or more.
Please make the font size of all chord extensions MUCH BIGGER from the root note (and this also includes importantly Sharps & Flats symbols).
