I value Chordify for trying to address the issue of tabs, lead sheets, song books and purchased sheet music rarely (if ever) publishing the music in the key that the songs were performed in. However, The chords that Chordify generates are inaccurate. Not that any other resource that I am aware of is more accurate. A case in point is Behind Closed Doors performed by Charlie Rich. Chordify suggests that it could be in the key of A#minor. Sonic Visualiser <https://sonicvisualiser.org> suggests that it could be in G major. Most tabs, as well as a song book that I have are in the key of C. At least getting the key of the song correct would help in transposing or adapting a lead sheet to more or less be in tune.
I find it very useful to play along to YouTube videos (I play sax and some piano) and Deezer, if I can get the key and most of the chords correct, but it can be quite difficult to sort that out by ear, so I believe Chordify has the potential to be a useful resource if accuracy can be improved on.
BTW, I am including an analysis of Behind Closed Doors by Sonic Visualizer, as I really would like to know what the key of the song is, and to potentially help Chordify with accuracy.
