I discovered chordify a few years ago, always hoping it would finally grow up and become the ingenious tool it has the potential to be. Sadly this did not happen. It basically seens to be the same as when I started.
Some of the usability problems I'm having:
- For me (I'm really, really stupid) the chord overview print out has to include the fingerings. Bmaj7 is not helpful, I need to know which keys to press.
- When I click on rewind to start again, there is this "helpful" tool-tip, saying I can rewind to start again, ok. Unfortunately this tooltip doesn't go away and because it's right in front of the Play/Pause button, there is no way to, well, play or pause - so annoying (not to say stupid).
- The screen layout in the Android app, only shows TWO chords at a time, no matter how much space there is. What a waste.
- What's worse the Android app shows different chords (or inversions) for the same song and has even fewer options.
I'd gladly pay for a polished, thoughtfully done, evolving tool I'd love to use because it's clever and helpful and it doesn't annoy me.
