I went to the blog article(algorithm-summer-bootcamp) after reading your post. Your idea is a good one, but I think it's already covered in the article, if I'm not mistaken the button is called, Chordify Now...

Thanks for your reply!  Are you saying that are seeing the "Chordify Now" button on a song that already has existing chords in Chordify's system?  If so, I must be missing it, but I only see that when coming across a new song that hasn't been analyzed yet.

My suggestion would always make that button available for songs new or existing in Chordify's database.

I see your point, but I don't know if that would really help the accuracy of chord identification in songs that have been already analyzed. I think what's happening is the songs being analyzed are probably WAV files, where in there's no separation of the recorded tracks. Chordify is trying to analyze the total overall sound making it difficult to separate and identify what the guitarist is doing accurately. I imagine that's the reason Chordify has the many mistakes that it does. Chordify is good for getting you into the ball park, but you still gotta run and scramble for the ball, ya know...

Arthur, your idea makes a lot of sense, since it seems it will bring the benefit of the improved beat tracking algorithm to previously Chordified songs.
