Adding a left hand base line
AnsweredI bought this app for my brother. I’m a classically trained pianist that’s played with orchestras. Put anything, even classical in front of me, and I can sight read it.....but when it comes to playing by ear, that’s my brother’s gift. Although sometimes, it helps to just get the basic gist, instead of figuring it out from scratch, especially songs that haven’t come out in sheet music, at all. But it would be helpful, and not that big a job, to add the left hand base note....not necessarily of course that’s in the right handed chord. Because for the money, this is beyond basic.

Hello,
At Chordify we're currently mainly focused on extracting chord data from songs—our algorithm is not at a point where it can reliably transcribe individual melody lines, sorry for the inconvenience! In other words, we only provide the chords, e ssentially, the left hand for piano players. We do try and keep Chordify simple so it's accessible to a wide range of musicians with varying levels of ability.
If we can help with anything else, please reach out to support@chordify.net!
