No Piano Chord diagram print out
AnsweredI am just off the chat box with Chordify . I was complaining about the lack of option to immediately just print out the piano chord diagrams . One has to print everything , including the columns charts if you click ' print ' . This takes three pages of A4 and two of them are wasted usually . I really just want one page of piano chord diagrams that I can sit on music stand and start to learn fingerings .
The rep said this option isn't available ( yet ) but he will inform the developers . I hope so . If I have known this beforehand , I probably wouldn't have paid for Premium .
Here's hoping he is true to his word

Hi Dean,
There isn't a possibility to only print the diagrams currently, but as Ross pointed out, you can see the chord diagrams used in the song from the Summary tab, and if you use the 'Print This Page' option from the Diagrams tab, this provides a basic chord chart with the diagrams on the final page.
Thanks for your advice as ever Ross!
If you have further questions or there's anything else we can help with Dean, please just reach out to support@chordify.net.
All the best

Thanks Ross .
This is close to what I would like . I don't need the top two columns , only the chord diagrams . Usually , I just scroll till only piano diagrams ( above ) are on screen , take a screen shot and print it out as a jpeg . I just wish I could click and print ..
Cheers ( all the way from NZ too ..I'm in Scotland )

Hi Dean
I'll walk you through it. Should work on a computer with microsoft stuff on it.
1) Load up your song choice in Chordify
2) Click on Diagrams
3) Click on and Select Piano
4) Click on Summary ... you see the diagrams of every chord represented in the song
If you want to print what you see (use Print Screen) or only a selection use the MS function called Snipping Tool (this tool is real handy for a whole lot of functions and I use it quite a lot)
Put your selection around the bit you want printed. Go File and then Save As and save this to a directory on your hard drive ... OR ... open up a MS Word Doc and copy this into a MS Word file. That way you can type away and make all sorts of notes.
I've got a directory called Double Bass Songs and I put all my stuff here so I can find it easy later.
We are from Whangarei, Northland.
Good luck. Regards Ross.

Thanks Ross , but this is almost exactly what I do/use . I use the snipping tool ( Win 7 ) This way I can snip only the segment of page I need ( more precise than print screen ) I then save it on hard drive ..( I have dozens of songs in HD this way ) The only thing I don't do is import it into MS as I have no real alterations to make ..I just need to learn the fingerings for the piano ..
