Hi William, we don't really offer notes specifically for bass since we are mainly focused on chords (and the bass guitar is—traditionally speaking—not really a chord instrument). What you can do, however, is play the root notes of the chords, but this might not match the actual bassline of all songs. Our apologies for the inconvenience! If we can help with anything else, please contact: support@chordify.net.

I see Chordify as a tool to show you the chord progression of songs.  And for Guitar players it also gives the chords but it doesn’t show you the exact tabs.  The same can be said for Bass, I don’t think we can expect Chordify to give you tabs.  Chordify support, pls correct me if you have plans to transcribe the tabs too!

    Hi William

As both a double bass player and electric bass player I have learnt a lot using the Chordify site for many years now.

For practice of songs (going over and over either a full song or a section of it.  It gives you chords, and certainly not the bass riffs or patterns.

Best wishes, Ross from New Zealand.

Yes, I know the chords are given.  My thought was that adding bass notes would further enhance Chordify.  It's a really nice application as is, but I was just curious about whether there were any plans to add bass.

Hi William, do you mind elaborating on how you'd like to see the bass notes?

Really simple.  Just throw in the bass below the chords!  Sure, I can pick what I think is the bass note from the lowest note in the chord.  An approximation.  Probably good enough...Hey, with this addition, Chordify will be more "complete".  Let's just say,  the combination of the main guitar chords with the bass creates a "super chord"!!!  Whatever.  Treble and bass cleff together. Worth suggesting.  Not needed.  But would be nice...

Try the Ultimate Guitar app. There are loads of bass tabs on there, and you can use them to play along with Chordfy.
