RIFF notation

A lot of songs have riffs or solos that aren't strummed but picked. It would be helpful to have the ability under the edit function to denote these points. Perhaps an "R" or a symbol could be available in the edit feature under 'Root' when you open the beat in the measure to select a chord? Thank you.
