Chorus/Verse markers/color-coding!!! Many requests for this
Hopefully I don't have unreasonable expectations of what a small company like CHORDIFY would / could attempt to do. I can imagine that being able to insert markers for VERSE / CHORUS / ETC might be hard to do. Or? Would love to hear from the developers what ambitions they have for such and how hard it would be to accomplish.
As the end user, CHORDIFY is fantastic for LEARNING a song. But for a gig or rehearsal, not having markers/indicators for the different song parts makes it a jumble of chord symbols, very confusing for when you're scrambling to find where you are in the song! And what chord to play next!!
What if CHORDIFY just gave us the capability and the end users implemented it? For example:
- Color coding as a bare minimum would get the job done
- The blocks of bars could be interrupted, like going to the next line in a paragraph, which could be demarcated with colors or various symbols:
xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx
xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx
==== chorus====
xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx
I'm sure there are many ways to accomplish this but the real question is if CHORDIFY has ambitions for making this kind of capability-? Maybe there's no real drive to implement this capability, or it's too complex- ?
I see that many others have urgently requested this. A response from the development team would be much appreciated, this is a natural development for an otherwise fantastic program!

Good luck, Randy. I’ve requested this multiple times over the years hope you have better luck getting a response than those who’ve tried before.
More likely, this will be ignored as all the surrounding requests are marked Answered. Presumably it’s either not a priority or not possible for the development team to implement, but it’s a shame they don’t even tend to confirm that much.
It’s literally the one feature that would get me to reactivate my subscription.
