    Hello GIbson
I have been recently playing some new songs to practice my double bass just a few days ago.
Namely Here Comes the Sun / Beatles with a huge existing 17,844 views
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUNqsfFUwhY
    Plus
    Travelling Wilburys
CCR   Clapton   Rolling Stones   Garth Brooks   Eagles etc   All the most popular artists.

But I now get the error message ...........
    YouTube Video unavailable
These videos contains content from UMG (univeresal Music Group), who has blocked it from display on this website or application.

So I made some enquiries as to WHY ?????

Could I please provide some rational advice.
    1) If UMG are concerned that some third parties are making money from using the YouTube videos, then lets look at this issue.
    2) Chordify is actually a learning tool for guitar players. It helps them learn the instrument, play along with these fabulous songs, and actually keeps the artists, songwriters and record companies for ordinary musicians to keep the artist's music alive. This must be a good thing.
    3) In fact I play double bass in a small music band. We learn all our music tracks from Chordify & YouTube. We make no money from this and play this music for ourselves and for friends and small local community functions.
    4) The artists with UMG (see their website) are all huge music names.
    5) So they block the YouTube clip and take it down.  So when you play the song again from your saved list then of course it doesn't exist anymore.  What I do is find the song again on YouTuce again and then re-add it to my favourites.  Then you can keep playing it again.  But of couse the song that you have previously added to your set-lists, etc also doesn't exist.  This is a real pain in the arse.  But the big companies do this to protect their royalties of course.

    6) lets have a constructive debate by Chordify community. I volunteer to be a pro-active supporter of Chordify.
    7) Explain to our users clearly what's going on. Contract UMG. If so ...Keep us informed please.
Regards Ross, a dedicated, retired, 69 year old double bass player from New Zealand. Kia Ora.
