Line numbers or at least bar numbering

Trying to transcribe a song, and I go back and forth with my lyrics page and I get lost of exactly where I'm at. Which line in the lyrics were these chords linked to again?

So, a number at the left side of the page that says 1, 2, 3, 4 for each line, or 0, 4, 8, 12, etc, helps me remember where I am.

I see this has already been requested.

    I was thinking exactly the same. I would be great to have numbers for each line or even better, for each box.

    Or put the lyrics just below every line with chords. It would be so much easier to read and to edit.

    A very practical idea to make finding fragments easier. It would even be very interesting to specify the loop start and end numbers.
    I'm a programmer, and this feature is very simple to implement.
    I've already asked this question three times, but apparently little is being done to improve this program. It's a bit of a shame, because this is a super practical program that I use daily.
