  Why do some songs have lyrics just below the tablature that change focus with the song, and others have lyrics at the bottom of the page but are not synchronized to the tablature?

  I believe the lyrics at the bottom is the new look for some songs they are working on so you can have it more like sheet music. If a song has that option or you want to change it there should be a button below the tablature for Chords Diagrams or Chords with Lyrics on the webpage or a drop down above the chord names in the app. Not sure if that answers your question.

  I'm talking about the lyrics in the red circle below. Many songs have lyrics, but only a small percentage have them up near the tablature like this.
