metronome syncing
how does one sync metronome to song tempo? I try and shortly after out of sync.

I am not sure if I understand your issue totally but if you are trying to sync to a live music song, it is not unusual for live music and singers to either slow down or speed up a little bit while doing a song. Just listening you really don’t notice it but if you have a metronome ticking eventually it will go out of sync since it stays consistent. Hope that answers your question.
